Dennerby Invites Oshoala, Oparanozie, Ebi, Orderga 44 others To Super Falcons’ Camp

Super Falcons Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby, has called up reigning African Women’s Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, Onome Ebi, Desire Oparanoize and 45 other players to camp ahead of next month’s 11th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Ghana

Dennerby called up a total of 29 home–based and 19 overseas –based professionals for the first phase of camping.

The team is expected to resume camp at the Jubilee Chalets, Epe, Lagos State on Thursday, 18th October.

Other players invited to camp are goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Glory Ogbonna, Alaba Jonathan, Tochukwu Oluehi, Joy Jegede, Halimat Ayinde and Francisca Ordega.

The Super Falcons are the current holders of the women’s AFCON title. The Nigeria ladies have won eight out of the 10 editions of the championship staged so far.

The 11th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be staged in the Ghanaian cities of Accra and Cape Coast, from the 17th November – 1st December 2018.

The draw for the eight–nation championship has been scheduled for Sunday, 21st October.
