16 suspected kidnappers and ritualists have been arrested at Ankpa in Kogi state after been busted in their hideout.
The Men ranging from age 16 to 45 reportedly specializes in killing innocent people and removing their vital organs.
The Suspects are;
Yakubu Hamidu (gang leader), Abdullahi Ibrahim, Shaibu Adamu and Ubile Attah.
Julius Hassan, Shehu Haliru, Abdullahi Tijjani, Sale Adama, Musa Abdullahi.
Yakubu Yahaya, Adama Shagari, Isaac Alfa, Baba Isah, Idoko Benjamin, Akwu Audu and Abdullahi Zakari.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Acting DCP Jimoh Moshood, while confirming the arrest said one pump action rifle, two locally fabricated single barrel guns and three short axes were recovered from the suspects.
He said one of the suspects, Ubile Attah masterminded the kidnap and murder of a Police Inspector, Abdul Alfa on Nov. 28, 2017 and snatched his rifle.
They confessed to have handover the body parts to the duo and collecting huge sums of money in hundred of thousands of Naira.
Moshood said following complaints of missing persons in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi, the Inspector-General of Police directed the IGP Strike Force attached to Operation Absolute Sanity to investigate the cases.
