A woman’s eyes have been removed after being attacked by suspected ritualists on her farm in Plateau state.
It was gathered that the shocking incident happened at Kunga village in Jos North local government area of the State after the grandmother went out to her farm to look for what she will eat and also fetch some firewood.
According to David Ayuba, on her way back home, the aged woman met some people who offered to assist her but she declined because she was reportedly scared of them.
The two men allegedly forced her down and injected her with an unknown substance.
According to the grandmother, she didn’t know what happened afterwards, but she woke up to realise that her two eyes have been removed by the two men apparently.
The woman who says she’s lucky she was not killed in the process – is currently at University of Jos Teaching Hospital undergoing treatment.
