Uche Agbo has returned to action for Belgian club Standard Liege after he attended his mother’s funeral last week in Nigeria.
The former Enyimba midfielder was a first-half substitute on Saturday as Standard turned back KAS Eupen 3-0 in the league.
Standard Liege are now fifth on the table with 26 points from 16 matches.
On Thursday night, they will welcome La Liga club Sevilla in a UEFA Europa League group game.
The Belgian club will be seeking for revenge after they were thrashed 5-1 when both teams first clashed in September.
