Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Not Guilty & Gets Far Off Trial Date

This morning, Tekashi 6ix9ine pled not guilty to six RICO and gun charges in Federal court.

His trial is set for September 4, 2019 and he faces up to life in prison.

That will give 6ix9ine almost a year to decide on whether to flip on his Nine Trey Bloods codefendants, including his former manager Shotti, who’s been accused of stealing over $2 million from the troll rapper.

6ix9ine, who’s been locked up since November 18, was transferred to a Federal prison known to house government witnesses in part to keep him away from members of the Nine Trey Bloods, who the Feds have on tape threatening to do Tekashi harm.

The 22-year-old was denied bail last week. His lawyer Lance Lazzaro plans to apply for bail directly to the trial judge in the coming weeks. But given his criminal history and his safety concerns, there’s a good chance 6ix9ine will remain locked up until his far off trial.
