The Super Falcons face a very daunting 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign after they were drawn against hosts France, Korea Republic and Norway in Group A.
They will play their first game of the World Cup against Norway, who are ranked 13th in the world and are making their eighth straight appearance at the showpiece event.
The Falcons other first round foes are France, whose best showing at the World Cup was reaching the semifinals, and Korea Republic, who are making their third World Cup outing while a Round of 16 finish has been their best achievement.
France, who are ranked No 3 in the world, trounced the Falcons 8-0 in a friendly this year.
