Professor Johnbull supports patronage of made-in-Nigeria goods The TV drama series, Professor Johnbull, sponsored by the grandmasters of data, Globacom, in a new episode airing at 6.00 p.m. this Sunday on DSTV Africa Magic Family and GOTV Channel 2 calls for support and patronage of made in Nigeria goods and services. The repeat broadcast comes up on Thursday at 9.30 p.m. on the same TV channels.
In the new episode entitled Made in Nigeria, the consensus of the dramatist personae is that made-in-Nigeria products are not of inferior quality, as most goods in the Nigerian markets carrying foreign labels are in real fact made in Nigeria. Professor Johnbull also airs on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday, with Anambra Broadcasting Service airing same at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday.
Part of the issues viewers will determine for themselves as they book a date with the episode include: Does the price of a good determine its superiority? Can Nigerian goods compete favourably with foreign ones? Why do manufacturers put foreign labels on goods produced in Nigeria? Why does Jumoke storm out of a party in anger after donning an expensive foreign dress? Who makes Elizabeth to shine at the party? Featuring the protagonist of the series, Professor Johnbull, acted by Kanayo O. Kanayo, Jumoke (Bidemi Kosoko), Elizabeth (Queen Nwokoye), Flash (Stephen Odimgbe), Jeroboam (Osita Iheme), Ufoma (Bimbo Akintola) and Abadnego (Martins Nebo), Made in Nigeria will show a new character trait of Jumoke as not just pretentious but also a patriotic and amenable personality.
Jumoke’s closing remarks and her campaign for local contents as well as the concurrence of Professor Johnbull are goodies viewers should not miss in the episode.
