The UNU Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) offers an excellent multicultural environment for scholars to work on their research and interact with scholars from different countries and disciplines.

Eligible Countries: All. Applicants from developing countries and women are particularly encouraged to apply.

To be taken at (country): Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Duration of Scholarship: The fellowship is a full-time employment on a one (1) year Personnel Service Agreement (PSA) contract, and can only be extended (for a maximum of one (1) year) based on budget availability and a progress review conducted during the 9th month of the first-year fellowship.

a separate cover letter setting out how the applicant’s qualifications and experience match the eligibility requirements of the positions / topics listed
a completed and signed UNU Personal History (P.11) form (do not use similar forms provided by other United Nations organisations and do not submit your vitae)
an abstract of your current PhD research/dissertation
one sample (.pdf file) of your recent publication in English
Note for references: At least one (1) reference must come from one of your PhD supervisors
an indication of the reference number of the vacancy announcement (2018/UNU/INWEH/PSA/PDF/UWR/UWR/WRR/01)
