Many tankers were burnt following a serious fire outbreak earlier today along NPA expressway by Niger cat junction in Effurun area of Warri, Delta state.
It was gathered that the fire burnt various petrol tankers in the area for hours without even a single fire service truck in sight to quell the inferno.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this airport.

The raging fire was said to have been ignited by a spark from a power electricity cable fell by a heavy duty equipment into a pool of crude oil which observers noticed has been spilling from a ruptured pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
