The Oyo State Resident Commissioner of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Barrister Mutiu Agboke, has warned all political parties in the state not to embark on fresh presidential and National Assembly campaigns.
Agboke said that presidential and National Assembly campaigns have been constitutionally brought to a close two days ago stressing that anyone embarking on campaigns toward these elections is violating the law of the land.
The INEC boss in the state said, “We have not extended campaign period and not political party should embark on campaign for presidential and National Assembly Elections”.
He however noted that campaign for Governorship and State Assembly are on-going and they would stop three days to the elections.
