Enyimba head coach, Usman Abdallah, says his team is well prepared for today’s (Sunday) CAF Confederation Cup quater-final, first leg clash against Rwanda’s Rayon Sports in in Kigali, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The People’s Elephant will face their hosts at the Stade Nyamirambo, Kigali with the return leg billed for the Enyimba International Stadium Aba next weekend.
The Aba giants won only once on the road in the group stage and needed a last gasp winner against CARA Brazzaville of Congo to book their spot in the quarter-finals.
“We are well prepared for the game. We are not taking anything for granted,” Abdallah told reporters ahead of the game.
“It’s good that we are playing away first, but whatsoever the case in this match, the qualifying team will be decided after the second leg.”
No Nigerian club has won the CAF Confederation Cup in the past.
