Super Eagles of Nigeria star, Ahmed Musa, on Wednesday scored a hat-trick for his new Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, who defeated their hosts Al-Qadisiyah 3-O in a league game.

The Nigerian international, who had previously fired blanks in their opening two games of the season, broke the deadlock after benefitting from Abderrazak Hamdallah’s assist in the 21st minute before doubling the lead four minutes before the interval.

Musa completed his hat-trick in the 66th minute, after he was teed up by Moroccan playmaker Nordin Ambarat.

The former Leicester player took to his Twitter handle moments after the match, to express his delight.

“First hat-trick for @alnassr!!! Thanks to my teammates and the supports for all the love!” he tweeted.

Al Nassr have now won all three games in the Saudi Professional League this season and sit at the top of the standings with nine points.

Following the victory, the Knights of Najd are unmoved at the summit of top-flight table with nine points from three games.

Al Nassr host Al Taawon at the King Fahd Stadium for their next league fixture on September 24.
