Lokomitivi Tbilisi FC of Georgia newly signed striker, Williams Oluremi John has vowed to hit the ground running in his quest to turn the club’s fortune around, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
In an exclusive chat with CSN, the former Rovanniemi FC of Finland striker who penned a year and five months deal with the Georgia n side said he is determined to break new ground with Lokomotivi Tbilisi after a short stint in Morocco and Finland.
” I feel great, it’s been a very great transition. The club has excellent facilities a very nice stadium and serious plans for the future. I like what’s being done here and I’m very happy to be a part of it.
We play very technical football that’s been perfect for my style. I want to enjoy the game score some goals and keep growing as a player,” he said.
Still smarting from the club’s 1-0 loss to Kolkheti Poti last week, the US- born Nigerian striker is optimistic the club can still finish the season on high despite their last weekend setback.
In a chat CSN, the former Rovanniemi FC striker believe the club recent loss should be seen as a wake up call for the players on the need to step up their efforts as the season continue to wind down.
” Things will get better. A lesson has been learnt, but we need to put the loss behind us and move on,” he concluded.
The former US junior international is expected to start in Thursday’s home fixture against Dalia FC after came in for Jikia in the 60th minutes against Kolkheti.
