Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Wikki Tourists have unveiled Aliyu Zabairu as their new technical adviser.
Zubairu who takes over from Bala Nikyu signed a one-year contract with the Bauchi club which is subject to extension.
The new gaffer last worked at Akwa United where he was assistant coach to Abdu Maikaba who has since linked up with former NPFL champions, Plateau United.
Zubairu has also worked under veteran coach ,Kadiri Ikhana and former Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets coach, John Obuh in the past.
This is the first time Zubairu will manage a side in the NPFL and he faces a big task in improving a Wikki side that underperformed last season.
He holds a degree in Physical and Health Education (PHE) from University of Maiduguri, CAF B and C coaching licenses, Diploma in football from the National Institute for Sports (NIS) Lagos and level four grade from the Brazilian Institute for Sports.
