Italian outfit, Torino, are looking to sign Nigeria defender, Ola Aina on a permanent deal from English Premier League side, Chelsea in January,
Aina linked up with Walter Mazzari’s men on a one-year loan deal from Chelsea in August and has impressed during his stay at the club.
He was voted man-of-the-match in Torino’s penultimate league clash against Fiorentina which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 22-year-old earned a game rating of 8.0, completing 77% of his passes, making 2 key passes and hitting the woodwork once in the game.
Aina also won a game-high of 10 duels, made 2 clearances, 1 interception and completed 100% of his tackles.
According to a report in Italian online news outlet, tuttosport.com, Torino are keen on activating the €10m purchase option inserted in the loan agreement.
Aina penned a new three-year deal with Chelsea prior to completing the loan move to Torino.
The versatile full-back who signed for Chelsea as an under-11 and made his youth team debut as a schoolboy in the 2012–13 season has made only three league appearances for the club.
He spent the 2017/2018 campaign on loan with English Championship club, Hull City making 44 appearances.
Aina has featured in all of Torino’s 10 league games this season, with seven starts and three substitute appearance.
