Striker wants AC return – Complete Sports Nigeria

According to reports in the Italian media, Sassuolo striker Alessandro Matri has offered himself to former club AC Milan. Matri is said to be friends with Milan directors Leonardo and Paolo Maldini and sources suggest that he will use that friendship to engineer a move back to the San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the 34-year-old would not mind joining the club as a squad back up to first choices Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone in order to ‘end his career’ where it began.
The former Italy international has played for Juventus, Cagliari, Lazio, Genoa and Fiorentina in his career, before settling down at Sassuolo in 2016, but he wants to go back to Milan to finish his career.
