1. Job Title: Poultry Manager

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• Need to have very strong technical Pro and Rearing, Poultry/Fishery skills, strong and effective leadership abilities and thorough understanding of modern Poultry Breeder/Fishery Farm operations.
• The Poultry and Fish Managers position Is hands on and takes for all aspects of farm performance and staff management. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven strong track record of success in the poultry or fishery Industry, animal health, Feed Formulations, Debeaking, Fish Hatcher Vaccination and previous experience of no less than 3 years in a Poultry or Fish Management positions respectively where technical poultry and Fishery have been addressed and productivity levels have grown.

Other Requirements

• Minimum of HND (Upper Credit), BSc Degree (Second Class Upper) in Veterinary, Animal Science or Animal Biochemistry & Nutrition from a reputable tertiary institutions.
• Age – Between 26yrs -36 years.
• Integrity and result oriented personnel
• Making sure hygiene standards are high, to prevent disease
• Keeping financial and inputs records of the numbers of chicken, eggs and size of fish ordering, equipment, chemicals and feeds.

2. Job Title: Farm Workers/Farm Attendant

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• Catches chickens and places them In crates and pens.
• Sprays disinfectants or vaccines on chickens, pens or Fish ponds.
• Spreads wood shavings over floor, change fish pond water regularly.
• Cleans droppings and waste from floor using broom and shovel.
• Dumps sacks of feeds on feeders in brood houses, pens and fish pond.
• Fills water containers for pen and fish pond
• Shovels manure onto truck or sack bag.
• Stack and move crated eggs and poultry.
• May be designated according to type of farm or product as Laborer,
• Brooder Farm
• Chicken Farm
• Egg-Producing Farm,
• Fish Ponds or any other farm tasks.

Other Requirements

• Minimum of O’Level certificate with pass in English and Mathematics
• Age – Between 20yrs -30 years.
• Integrity and result oriented personnel
