Joel Embiid and the three-time NBA Champion Philadelphia 76ers will face Dirk Nowitzki and the 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on Friday, 5 October this afternoon. The game will be broadcast live on Kwese Sports 1.

The Cameroonian was selected as a starter in the 67th NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles and was named Player of the Week twice, from Jan. 15-21 and Feb. 5-11. Embiid was also the only player in the NBA to average 22.0, 11.0 and 3.0 and first 76er to do so since Charles Barkley in 1986-87.
