National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Salary Structure

Pensioners in Nigeria faced serious problems such as delay in
the release of pension fund and some other irregular activities before the enactment of the Pension Reform Act back in 2004.

Back then,most Nigerian workers under the private sector were not covered by the pension schemes,this acts continued until the federal government of Nigeria decided to enact an agency that will help with the pension crisis in Nigeria.

The National Pension Commission popularly called PENCOM was initiated during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo.

PENCOM is headquartered at 174 Ademola Adetokunbo,Wuse 2,Abuja,Nigeria.

The average entry level salary earned by PENCOM  employees is between ₦ 130,000 –

₦140,000 per month after tax and pension deductions.
