Leon Balogun is pleased to see his former Super Eagles teammate, Victor Moses feature for Chelsea after missing the Blues’ last five games in all competitions,
Moses made his first start (third appearance of the season in all competition) for Chelsea this season in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup third round win against Liverpool at Anfield.
The 27-year-old featured for the whole game though he was booked for dissent in the additional time of the win.
“Happy to see my brother @VictorMoses on the pitch winning games again ✊🏽,” Balogun hailed Moses in his Tweet on his Twitter handle @LeonBalogun.
Daniel Sturridge gave Liverpool the lead in the 58th minute. The Blues, however, turned the game around in six minutes with Emerson getting the equaliser and Eden Hazard smashing in the winning goal in the 86th minute.
Chelsea, who host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this weekend, remain unbeaten this season following the win against Liverpool
Moses will be hoping he makes his 220th appearance in the English Premier League encounter when at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Moses,a former Stoke City, West Ham and Liverpool winger, has scored 20 EPL goals and provided 18 assists
