Manchester United came from behind to draw 2-2 at Southampton, but their winless run in the Premier League stretches to three games.
Superb strikes from Stuart Armstrong and Cedric had put the hosts 2-0 up before Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera brought United level before halftime.
Jose Mourinho’s side remain seventh in the table, while Mark Hughes’ men move above Burnley into 18th on goal difference, but are without a league win since Sept. 1.
United had a great chance to score just three minutes in after Alex McCarthy stumbled when trying to clear the ball, but recovered in time to deny Lukaku.
After scoring a brace at Fulham last week, Stuart Armstrong grabbed another at St. Mary’s with a thunderous strike from the right channel to put Southampton in front after 13 minutes.
United’s woes continued as Southampton doubled their lead through a Cedric free kick just seven minutes later.
Lukaku’s 12-match goal drought for Manchester United came to an end after being picked out by Marcus Rashford, firing the ball into the roof of the net to pull one back.
Rashford was the provider again as United equalised after 39 minutes, running into the box and teeing up Herrera to finish from close range.
The match continued to be tight, with no further chances of note coming until the second half when Michael Obafemi fell under a challenge from Scott McTominay, but referee Kevin Friend waved play on.
Southampton captain Pierre-Emili Hojbjerg had a speculative effort from 30 yards held by David De Gea as both sides struggled to break the other down had to settle for a point apiece.
