Crystal Palace have enquired into the availability of Everton striker Cenk Tosun, according to Sky Sports.
The Turkey international joined Everton from Besiktas for £27m last January, but has scored only seven goals in 33 appearances.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson is keen to strengthen his attacking options before the close of the window having allowed striker Alexander Sorloth to join Belgium side Gent on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
But it is understood Everton will not sanction any deal for Tosun to leave Goodison Park if they are unable to secure a replacement.
Everton have already allowed Oumar Niasse to join Cardiff on loan for the rest of the season.
Palace have struggled for goals all season, scoring just 23 in 23 games, only the bottom five teams in the Premier League have scored fewer.
