The truth is that Jamb Direct Entry and UTME registration has begun for 2019. Now, a question comes to mind, Can I Use Awaiting Result For Jamb 2019 Direct Entry (DE)? This question is especially from those whose ND & NCE results are yet to be out.
Without further waste of time, you can use awaiting result for Jamb 2019 direct entry registration. Just that you will have to upload the result before Jamb starts giving admmision
While registering for this year’s Jamb direct entry, put “AR” in place of your result. AR means Awaiting Result.
The good news is that schools would have released ND (HND, NCE, JUPEB, IJMB or the result you are using for D.E) result before Jamb starts releasing admission list.
All you need to do is to travel to your Polytechnic or college of Education, Jupeb Centre, etc to collect your result and upload to Jamb portal.
You may be wondering, how do I upload my direct entry result to Jamb portal when it is out? This shouldn’t be a problem for you. Immediately your result is out, go to any Jamb approved cbt centre around you and give them to help you upload.
Uploading of your direct entry result costs around #1,000. In addition to your result, you would have to drop your email, phone number and necessary information with the Computer-based centre. You don’t need to bother how to check if they have actually uploaded it (because they do).
In summary, you are free to register Jamb direct entry even when your school is yet to release ND or NCE result but do not fail to upload your result to Jamb website when it is released. You can’t upload the result by yourself. Visit any approved Jamb centre to have it uploaded.
